“Wherever we want to go, we go. That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull, and deck and sails; that's what a ship needs. But what a ship is...what she really is...is freedom.”
CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow
Sailing is a state of mind.
Whether you are in adventurous or relaxed mood, the sea voyage can make you feel fulfilled and happy. For a week or two, you can either experience adventure sailing or blue water cruising.
Imagine a perfect sunny day and blue water all around you. You're sitting on deck, sipping a glass of wine and feeling a gentle breeze on your face. Every day we are going places, discovering secluded anchorages, diving into clear, turquoise water and sunbathing on deck. In the evening, we're having delicious dinner in a local restaurant, talking, laughing and enjoying ourselves.
If you'd rather feel like an old sea dog, imagine a yacht going under full sails, cruising speed exceeding 12 knots. It's difficult to move on board, as the boat is leaning heavily to starboard, but there's work to be done: we are tacking. You have to be quick working on the winch. The waves braking over the deck leave you soaking wet and...happy. And in the evening, after we've reached a safe port, we're having delicious dinner in a local tavern, talking, laughing and enjoying ourselves.
Whichever scenario you choose – welcome on board!
